About Our Organization
Community Health Justice and Peace Initiative for Development, JDPH was founded in 1993 as a National Non-Governmental Organization working in the states of the North East, and Plateau state in the North Central part of Nigeria. We currently have a staff capacity of 66 staff with expertise in different humanitarian fields. We are committed to providing humanitarian and developmental services to the affected population of violence and other forms of disaster. Our areas of focus include the provision of FSL, Nutrition, WASH facilities, Educational services, Protection, Good Governance and Peace Building to the most vulnerable. As a strategy, our interventions are designed to mitigate crisis (Pre-emergency), development and resilience building (post-emergency). In the past three years we were able to reach 53,000 beneficiaries with our interventions. We are currently providing humanitarian assistance to over 248,000 individuals. We are currently receiving funding from partners such as ICCO, WFP, KIA, and CAID.
