The official launch of our Climate Change Action Project: Plant a Tree, Save the Earth was marked by the planting of 1,000 tree seedlings throughout North-Central and Northeastern Nigeria by Community Health, Justice, and Peace Initiative for Development in collaboration with Kerk in Actie. ![]()

Our committed team travelled to Adamawa State from August 26 to 29 to visit the communities of Kumbula and Shuwa in Madagali LGA and Likuni in Michika LGA.
This initiative goes beyond planting trees. It is about nurturing hope, protecting our environment, and empowering young people to take ownership of the future they will inherit.
When we take care of the Earth, the Earth takes care of us, so we are working together to fight climate change and build stronger communities. ![]()






JDPH Tree-Planting Campaign Update
Our team’s dedication to environmental conservation led to successful tree-planting events in the Butura company and Matalem communities within Bokkos LGA, Plateau State. These initiatives exemplify our ongoing commitment to rejuvenating Nigeria’s landscapes and fostering sustainable development in local communities. Through these efforts, we aim to create a greener, healthier environment for future generations.

With the generous support of kerk in Actie, our team moved to Nchiya and Pushit communities of Mangu LGA, Plateau State, to continue this initiative of cultivating a greener and healthier environment for all.
Together with the local community, we are taking bold and meaningful strides toward environmental sustainability, rural development, and climate resilience, planting hope, one tree at a time.

As part of our Plant a Tree, Save the Earth campaign, our team visited Tampul community in Askira Uba LGA, Borno State, marking the final phase of this transformative project.
We are proud to take action that reflects our long-term commitment to environmental responsibility and rural development. ![]()
So far, we have planted 1,000 seedlings across North Central (Plateau State) and the Northeast (Adamawa and Borno), each one a symbol of hope and a promise for tomorrow.

Community Health, Justice and Peace Initiative for Development, in partnership with Kerk in Actie, proudly launched the planting of 1,000 tree seedlings across North-Central and Northeastern Nigeria, marking the official kick-off of our Climate Change Action Project: Plant a Tree, Save the Earth. 
From August 26th to 29th, our dedicated team visited Kumbula and Shuwa communities in Madagali LGA, as well as Likuni community in Michika LGA, all located in Adamawa State.This initiative goes beyond planting trees. Tree Planting Update!It is heartwarming to see community members in Pushit community, Mangu LGA of Plateau State, taking ownership of the trees planted during our tree planting campaign last year.
The progress recorded so far is truly amazing and a testament to the commitment of the community in nurturing and sustaining this initiative.
