VOCATIONAL SKILLS TRAINING

One important way to reduce the risk of abuse for extremely vulnerable women is to assist them in obtaining economic and social security. With the help of our donors, we have kept up our efforts to train women in vocational skills so they can become self-sufficient.

November 2021

JDPH has equipped women in tailoring in Monguno, LGA, Borno State for six months. The training culminated with the graduation ceremony of the beneficiaries. The beneficiaries, who were so grateful for such a privilege, accepted their start-up packages with so much rejoicing and smiling.

Distributions of certificates and startup kits to vocational skills training participants in tailoring and shoemaking in Hong LGA of Adamawa state under the Food, Security, and Livelihood Intervention.
 
    

December 2022

JDPH vocational skills training beneficiary in shoemaking. He is now self-employed in Likuni community of Michika LGA, Adamawa State.

Our vocational training in shoemaking and tailoring, supported by Kerk in Actie, concentrates on providing individuals with transferable skills that have a real impact. These skills help to shape individual futures and strengthen families and communities.
