Specifically, it is the Commemorative Medal for the Italo-Austrian War 1915-1918, established by Royal Decree of Victor Emmanuel Ill on July 29, 1920. 8<br>• This medal was awarded to Italian soldiers and naval personnel who participated in hostilities during World War I, including campaigns against Austria-Hungary, as well as in the Dodecanese, Albania, Syria, and Palestine against the Ottoman Empire.<br>• The medal's design by engraver Silvio Canevari commemorates not only the victory in World War I but also the completion of Italian unification and the 70th anniversary of the revolutionary actions for state independence in 1848.<br>The medal is made of Bronze from Captured Cannons
