Beautiful vintage Japanese yunomi tea cup set featuring two handcrafted pottery cups in contrasting glazes: one earthy green speckled glaze (Oribe-style) and one reddish brown unglazed piece with wheel-thrown texture (possibly Bizen-style). Both come housed in their original signed kiri wood box (tomobako) with protective yellow cloths.<br><br>• Origin: Japan<br><br>• Material: Glazed & unglazed stoneware<br><br>• Styles: Oribe-style / Bizen-inspired<br><br>• Size: Approx. 2.5” tall, 2.5”wide<br><br>• Box: Signed wooden tomobako with calligraphy and red stamps<br><br><br><br>The mark on the base of the unglazed yunomi cup is an incised potter’s mark, possibly a stylized signature or studio seal.
