Very beautiful book published on the occasion of the first retrospective of Vivienne Westwood’s work which took place in London in 2004. The book contains more than 350 illustrations (including photographs by Mario Testino, Nick Knight, Anne Leibovitz, Steven Meisel…) retracing the story of this designer who revolutionized fashion in the 70s and who had a considerable influence on cultural history. The images include both the outfits worn by the Sex-Pistols and those worn by contemporary celebrities such as Sarah-Jessica Parker or Cameron Diaz, through catalogs, the press, parades or advertising campaigns.
