Taxco, YALALAG (Oaxaca) STERLING SILVER, Multi-cross, Dangle Pendant with Amethyst Gemstone, Eagle Mark Signed. This piece is pre-1970.<br>The huge, sterling, seven (7) cross pendant with dangles measures 4" x 2 1/4" x 1/2" deep.<br>Sterling rosettes and filigree design fill all areas of the main cross surface and the center of the six (6) dangling cross Milagros (charms). Wonderful sterling patina!<br>The 1/4" in diameter, domed, Violet AMETHYST gemstone cabochon is flush set into the center of the main cross.<br>Signed ~ "CS 925 STERLING HECHO EN MEXICO" and "EAGLE 3" MARK (This Mark is for TAXCO)<br>**Sometimes called a "Wedding Cross", originally these Pendants were created in Oaxaca, Mexico, from a small town called San Juan Yalalag.
