Authentic Vintage Signed Schiaparelli Vitrail Watermelon Rhinestone Bracelet and Earring Set won in auction several years ago <br><br><br>Schiaparelli jewelry company in the U.S. created several different jewelry designs using vitrial rhinestones, often called watermelon stones, because of their pink center and green outer edge. This fabulous modernist/brutalist bracelet and earring set uses dark vitrail rhinestones in the center of a "scrunched" japanned metal setting that is linked together to form the bracelet. Schiaparelli used these vitrial rhinestones in several different designs, but finding them in this setting is rare. A rare example of the 1950s U.S.-made Schiaparelli jewelry.
