Vintage Hobe brooch produced in the 1940s. Elaborate, hand-crafted leaves and flowers, bows, baskets, and hearts. All jewelry from this period was made in sterling silver. Originally sold in upscale department stores and boutiques, marketed under the slogan “Jewels of Legendary Splendor”. Stars of the stage and screen wore these creations.
Measures 2.9 inches by 2 inches and weighs 27.5g. Cleaned but may have some residual tarnish in places. Lovely piece.
