Scrimshaw Fossilized Tusk and Tooth<br><br>Recovered after laying in the ground 300 to one thousand years, it’s one of the most valuable legal ivories available today. <br>2 pieces to be bought together. Both depict nautical scenes. Smaller item on a pedestal for display measures about 2” tall and the larger piece is on a walnut display frame measuring 4 1/2” x 6 inches. Actual scrimshaw piece is 2 1/2 “ x 3 1/2 “ and is walrus tusk and tooth. Scrimshaw itself was done within the last 40 years.
