Vintage German-made Schmid carriage clock, dating to the 1960s. Traditional design with lacquered brass and glass (or acrylic) case and pillars.
Manufactured by W.& A. Schmid-Schlenker jr., GmbH & Co. KG, in Schwenningen, Black Forest, Germany. Marked "West Germany."
Features an eight-day, key-wind movement with chime on the hour and once on the half-hour. Untested. AS-IS.
Note: While well-made, these clocks are not yet considered antiques.
