This purse belonged to my great aunt Clara and is from the 1940s. It’s a one of a kind vintage Pollydot Dages original purse, specifically a wooden box purse with a decoupage design featuring shells. <br><br>Pollydot Dages: Pollydot Dages was an artist known for creating hand-painted and decoupaged wooden box purses, often featuring nature themes like birds, flowers, or marine life. <br><br>See pictures for details and measurements as they are part of the description. There are some spots where the decoupage has a small fragmentary. Also on the handle there is a spot which is a half an inch where I had to superglue a piece of the handle back on that broke off. I took pictures of everything I could find.<br><br>This purse is in good condition considering it’s age. It would be a great addition to anyone’s collection considering it is a one of a kind.
