Vintage Little Wonder Books series set, featuring 19 paperback books from circa 1950s. These are educational books, first published in the 1930s-1940s and revised/reprinted in the early 1950s. Published by the Charles E. Merrill Company. Each page includes a black and white photo with varying levels of reader text.
Each small paperback has a red cover with a black and white illustration repeated on the rear cover. Each spine and corner shows some edgewear. Except for 'Seeds', the internal stapled bindings are tight with all pages firmly attached, though staples show age and discoloration. Age tanning is present throughout, especially on interior covers. Some stains, smudges, and foxing may be present. Each book contains 32 pages. Dimensions: H – 8-1/4”, W – 5-1/4”.
Condition: AS-IS. Untested. Photos depict the actual books, highlighting most large blemishes. The individual book shown is a representative example. Great for collectors of vintage educational materials!
