Vintage Kahla Rhapsodie Blue Onion Porcelain Tea/Coffee 23 Pieces Set&nbsp;&nbsp; Made in GDR (German Denocratic Republic ) Service for 6<br>A beautiful dark blue and white porcelain tea or coffee set by Kahla, a German porcelain manufacturer.<br>It's authentic European vintage.<br>The set includes 6 tea/coffee cups and 6 saucers , 6 desert plates, 1 serving plate, 1 large tea/coffee pot, 1 smaller teapot,&nbsp; 1 sugar bowl, and 1 butter dish.<br>On 27 August 1844, Christian Eckhardt started the porcelain production site in Kahla with 20 employees. The factory quickly developed into a leading manufacturer, first in Thuringia and later in the whole of Germany.<br>The GDR made the porcelain factory in Kahla into a state owned operation and furtherexpanded the production site.<br>After the fall of the wall, the trust privatised the company. In 1994, it was refounded as KAHLA/Thüringen Porzellan GmbH by Günther Raithel <br>Excellent vintage condition.<br>Used for display only.
