A tall and striking Indiana Glass piece that is made of lime green satin glass in the Diamond Point Pattern. This eye-catcher is 16" tall and features a lovely scalloped base, and a paneled stem with a diamond studded wafer on the top. The bowl section of this urn also has the diamond shaped texture and has a 1/2" wide plain band at the top. The bottom of the bowl section has 6 panel edges that are under the diamond shaped design.<br><br>The Diamond Point pattern by Indiana Glass was first made in 1965.<br><br>Satin glass is glass that has been chemically treated to give it a satin finish. The term "satin glass" is frequently used to refer to a collectible type of pressed glass.<br><br>The satin finish is produced by treating the glass with hydrofluoric acid or hydrofluoric acid fumes.
