Vintage Gotham Gold Stripe Nightgown with Matching Robe Set. Style #6837. Purchased for the original owner's wedding night in 1956, worn only once and then stored.
Measurements (laid flat): Nightgown - Shoulder to Shoulder: 13", Pit to Pit: 16", Length: 37". Robe - Shoulder to Shoulder: 15", Pit to Pit: 19", Length: 45". Short balloon sleeves, ruffle lace detail, double-layer nylon skirt, fit and flare shape. Bodice is sheer with smocking and embroidered flowers. Robe is collared with 3 snap closure. Nylon Tricot.
Good vintage condition. Small, hard-to-see holes in the front of the robe and a small spot under the nightgown's top layer.
