Vintage Fleming Sterling Silver overlay on Stainless Steel cutting or grazing bit. The bit is in well-maintained condition.
A small section of the silver is missing where the mouthpiece attaches on the right cheek (approx. 1/2 inch). Please see the close-up photo provided. The marking "FLEMING" is visible below the mouthpiece on the inside of the right cheek.
The mouthpiece is a 4.75 inch wide by 7/16 inch diameter sweetwater mullen port. The low and wide port offers a lot of tongue relief and works more on the bars of the horse. Suitable for horses ready for a solid mouthpiece all the way to the finished horse.
