Vintage 1973 Ceramic Terracotta Mayan Figurine of a Female Dancer with a Large Chest, Made In Mexico.
Piece comes from a collection of Mayan and Aztec figurines purchased in Mexico in 1973.
Terracotta figure has tremendous details. She has a delightful smile, a great headdress with earrings, and a short, simple necklace. Fine motif carved to give character to her dress.
Handmade and hand-carved.
Figurine is 16" tall and 8" across at the shoulders.
Bottom of the base is marked "Mexico" and the number 6 written in purple ink.
Excellent condition.
