The exterior fur is in excellent used condition for age. The interior has minor/average wear. Pit to pit measures approximately 20" and full length about 27". It has pockets and a clasp/hook closure.
This beautiful vintage coat appears dark brown from up close, yet is black from afar. Made of mouton. Mouton is a type of treated lambskin where the fleece is chemically processed to be straight, dense, and moisture-repellent, giving it a silky, plush finish. The french word "mouton" means sheep.
