Vintage 1940s black crepe dress with white beaded crescent shapes<br> Unique hand-beaded white crescents accent the right side chest and left hip — they make for teeny, though not incredibly useful, pockets<br> Luxurious, flowing front skirt panel gathers into a long, flowing hip swag on the left hip<br> Fastens with metal zippers on the side and nape of the neck<br> No label<br><br><br>Bust: 40" (dolman sleeve)<br>Waist: 31" (32" tight)<br>Hips: 40"<br>Shoulder to waist: 17.5"<br>Waist to hem: 29" (2" of hem to let down)<br>Length: 46.5"<br><br><br>Very good vintage condition. <br><br>All the beads seem to be sturdy and on the dress well—the top crescent looks to have all its beads. The hip crescent appears to have about 97% of them—it looks like two short rows on the bottom side are missing but that’s upon really close inspection. <br><br>Very slight and subtle color lightening along the side zipper placket. <br><br>The back waist darts were let out by a previous owner, though that’s not apparent.
