This is a large vintage brooch made by Mexican artisans. It is made with a high quality of Sterling Silver and a round cabochon Amethyst. As shown in the picture, the brooch is three and a half inches across.<br><br>If the buyer would like me to polish this to a light shiny color, please message me after purchase to let me know. I am deliberately leaving it unpolished as many enjoy the tarnish on old jewelry such as this.<br><br>About: Taxco 980 is a phrase found on some pieces of jewelry.
