This beauty is from a pottery studio located in the town of Nove Bassano (a famous center for Italian pottery) near Vicenza, Italy<br>called "Ceramiche ZSZ" which stands for Zanolli, Sebelin, Zarpellon, the principal ceramic artists when the company was<br>founded in 1921. Although, of the three, the driving force behind this studio was Sebelin. That's his signature (or possibly a facsimile stamped signature) on the base. He was the artist who created the original sculpture from which model was made. His full name was Teodoro Sebelin (1890-1975). Through his artistic genius Ceramiche ZSZ reached a peak of<br>artistic excellence in the 1930s with the creation of some very innovative Art Deco figural sculptures.
