Sterling Silver Vintage Gemstone Brooch

Stunning vintage brooch pin made of sterling silver with a vermeil finish on the top of the brooch. Vermeil is a thick coating of 18 ct gold sometimes put over sterling silver. The brooch has 4 amethyst stones. The top amethyst is oval &amp; is approx. 1.75 carats (6.64mm x 8.13mm) &amp; is prong set. The 2 round amethyst stones are bezel set &amp; are equal to approx. 1.20 carats (measuring 5.65 mm each). The bottom amethyst, prong set, measures approx. 10.09mm x 7.97 &amp; is equivalent to approx. 2.40 carats. The larger oval stones are smokey topaz &amp; they each measure about 11.57mm x 10.26mm, or approx. 6 carats each. There's marcasite throughout this wonderful piece. 17.35 carats total<br><br>There are a few very small marks on the vermeil or where the vermeil may have rubbed off. They are hardly noticeable except with my jewelers loop &amp; certainly nothing that takes away from the beauty of this vintage piece.<br>The brooch measures 3-3/4" long x 2" wide.<br>This will not be marked down or offers accepted.
