This is a beautiful set never used only as a cabinet display. This comes with a large teapot measuring 8.5 inches tall, one creamer, one sugar bowl with lid, six tea cups, and six plates, each having a 5.5” diameter. This was made by skilled Japanese craftsman and they have the double wall design with cut out hearts they were called " double cups" insulated cups. This type of pottery, also known as Obori Soma-yaki, originates from the Fukushima Prefecture in northern Japan. Unique Features:<br>It's known for its double-walled construction, which helps keep beverages hot while protecting hands from the heat, and its distinctive celadon glazes with large crazing patterns. Design:The gold heart cutouts and the running horse motif are characteristic elements often found on these pieces.
