Japanese kanzashi hair ornament in silver, a fan-shaped ogi bira with delicate design and dangle elements.
Excellent condition, circa 1940, 7.5".
Original and handmade/hand-fabricated in Japan, dating from approx 1920 to 1990. One of a kind.
Kanzashi are fabricated from a wide range of materials, including lacquered wood, gold- and/or silver-plated metal, tortoiseshell, silk, and Bakelite. This piece is a fraction of the original price.
