Rare collectible vintage Hagenauer Wien Werkstatte handmade Austrian bronze statue of Jesus. Circa 1898-1950.
History: Founded in 1898, Hagenauer Werkstatte manufactured Vienna bronze sculptures, evolving with Art Nouveau and Wiener Werkstatte influences. Designs became radically reduced in form from 1920-1930.
Marked "Made in Austria", "Handmade", "Hagenauer Wien", "WHW in the circle" on the bottom (pictured). Stands 5 inches (13ccm) high and 98 mm wide.
