Retailing at $800, the large sized, double terminated and complete gem is a juicy crystal with a gorgeous icy aqua blue color and sparkle on the light. The translucent raw topaz has gemmy areas of sparkle and rainbow iridescence in the light and a dreamy aqua blue glow when backlit. The crystal has rhombahedral orthorhombic (hexagonal) shape with a classic terminated top and a self healed / crystallized bottom termination Topaz is a rare silicate gemstone mineral and blue is an uncommon and coveted variety by collectors.
