RARE #14/60 Halcyon Days Enamels Monument to Peter the Great Trinket Snuff Box

An exquisite decorative enamel Trinket Box. A perfect gift for any occasion. <br><br>This particular piece "Monument to Peter the Great" is a RARE find with only 60 made. <br>Inspired by a Snuff Box made of enamelled gold in Switzerland in 1780<br>A collection of the State Hermitage Museum<br>The lid sit tightly on the box but is detached. <br>The outside depicts the Monument to Peter the Great<br>The inside lid commemorates the Tercentenary of the founding in 1703 of the City of St Petersburg by Peter the Great<br>Inside the box edge is a the Hermitage Museum and writing on the bottom as to what inspired this trinket box.<br>The box is burgundy with gold tone trim and faux pearl embellishments<br>Measures approx 2 1/2" in diameter and 1 1/8" tall<br>Excellent condition - see photos <br>Comes with original storage box (does have a little bit of scuffs on corners - see photos)
