R. Blackington & Co Sterling Silver Articulated Angel Luggage Tag Post Earrings. Approximate measurements are: 1 3/4" Tall x 1" Wide. R. Blackington & Co Maker's Mark on the back & says "STERLING", Made in USA, research shows these were made approximately Circa 1900's-1950's. These Earrings are Sterling Silver all over with an Angel head & wings at the top & a Luggage tag at the bottom with Intricate Scroll & Floral Pattern. These are post style or pierced earrings. RARE- really hard to find ANY R. Blackington & Co Jewelry online but I was unable to find any for sale at the moment. Made at the height of the Travel Age- the Luggage Tag Jewelry was created. Condition is preowned with no chips, cracks or missing pieces. Backs are included. Few scuffs/ scratches due to age, use & love. Vintage Patina- adds to the Charm (could be cleaned)! Given to me by my Grandmother in the 80's when the Luggage Tag Jewelry made a comeback. Prop not included. Photos ARE the description. J4
