Toffoli was greatly inspired by the Cubist movement. Using his own variations & innovations, Toffoli's semi-abstract Cubist compositions are superbly achieved. Strong rhythms & movement created through subtle orchestrations of pastel color make Toffoli's style exciting & highly distinctive. In 1954, Toffoli learned the technique of lithography in the workshops of Fernand Mourlot, & then from 1968, he continues his editions of lithographs in those Jean-Claude Perrin. Lithography accepted his painting. Many books are dedicated to him.
