100% silk scarf hand-painted in Japan by artist Chika Higashi, designing under her brand “Coci la elle.”<br><br>Coci la elle, Tokyo, specialized in handmade parasols &amp; accessories—each expertly painted / adorned using techniques like embroidery—none of which were like any other. <br><br>Higashi’s creations are individual tributes to the teachings “ichigo ichie” &amp; “wabi sabi”—what Westerners may call “living in the moment” &amp; embracing the beauty of spontaneity, flaws, &amp; surrealist automatism. <br><br>Coco la elle is out of production, making this is a truly one-of-kind piece of art—unique even from any other Higashi fashions.<br><br>MEASUREMENTS: 20” x 25” / 51 cm x 53 cm<br><br>NEVER USED, except to display as art, BUT CAN BE USED AS kerchief / scarf, bandana, purse accent, hair accessory, &amp; beyond.<br><br>Only “flaws” (circled) (but remember “wabi sabi”!):<br><br>(1) some yellowing on a front edge (may just be butter-yellow watercolor paint used throughout the item); and, <br><br>(2) minor thread pull on one of the back corners
