An accomplished early 20th Century oil on canvas copy of Richard Rothwell's “Novitiate Mendicants". Signed “Curdo” to the lower right with canvas makers label stamped verso, this lovely piece measures 14.25" W x 20.0" H x 1" D. The painting is in good overall antique condition with strip lining to the edges of the canvas; even age darkening throughout the composition; and significant inpainting visible when viewed under UV light.
