Obllique Calligraphy Pen Holder

This beautiful hand turned calligraphy pen is made of East Indian Rosewood, Gaboon Ebony, Argentine Osage Orange, and AlumaLite resin containing stabilized coffee beans, then finished with a clear gloss laquer and hand polished to a mirror finish.<br><br>There is no shortcut to getting a great finish. I don’t use a spray can or some rub-on product that is done in minutes. To achieve the highest level of appearance and quality requires a meticulous multi-stage finishing process. To get the best results it takes time, knowledge, and the right equipment. First, each pen is sprayed multiple times with professional equipment and a state of the art 2-part lacquer. Next, the piece must be cured in a climate controlled environment. After the finish has cured it goes through multiple steps of sanding to remove any imperfections before I finally hand polishing each pen with the highest quality German polishing compounds available.
