Rare Vintage Mid Century Murano Millefiori “Thousand Flowers” Hand Blown Glass Tumbler Cup Made In Italy - Satin Acid Washed. This is a rare 100% millefori piece measuring almost 4” tall with a 2.5” diameter. This is in great vintage shape no chips or cracks. This is absolutely stunning and better in person. I have more millefiori glass if interested. Millefiori glass is a decorative glass that gets its name from the Italian "thousand flowers" and features a distinctive flower-like pattern. The technique involves heating and fusing bundles of colored glass rods into a thick rod, which is then sliced into small disks called "murrine". These disks are applied to hot glass, reheated, and then blown to create a brilliantly colored, intricately designed piece of glassware.
