Minolta Maxxum 7000 (also known as Minolta 7000 AF in Europe and α-7000 in Japan), a 35mm SLR film camera introduced in February 1985<br><br>It was the first camera to feature both integrated autofocus (AF) and motorized film advance, setting a new standard for SLR cameras. <br><br>Unlike traditional SLRs with dials, the Maxxum 7000 utilized a system of buttons for setting controls, making it more user-friendly, especially in Program mode where it functioned like a sophisticated point-and-shoot camera. <br><br>Beyond autofocus, it introduced features like auto film loading, automatic DX film speed setting, and auto rewinding, enhancing the user experience. <br><br>The autofocus motor is integrated within the camera body and drives the lens through a "screwdriver" connection. <br><br>In Program mode, the camera automatically selected the best program based on the lens in use, providing consistent results for "point-and-shoot" photography, especially with Minolta AF lenses between 35mm and 105mm. <br><br>Open to offers!
