MCM DANSK Cast Iron Candle Holder Matador with Hurricane glass by Jens Quistgaard. Style # 1700. Made In Denmark. SOLD AS IS. Untested.
Made of solid cast iron in the Brutalist style with blown hurricane glass. Will hold a tealight, taper, or up to a 2 1/2" diameter pillar candle. The opening is 2 5/8" diameter x 2" deep. Glass is 11" tall. When put together, base + glass is 13.25" tall. Iron base measures 3" diameter x 3 3/4" tall. The Base has an extra divot to hold a taper candle.
The Item is in good vintage condition. It comes with its original cylinder box for storage. Glass has no cracks or chips.
