This gorgeous mid-19th century Mason’s ironstone Dinner Plate / Charger is from c1870<br><br>This large plate is decorated in a striking chinoiserie pattern called "Old Japan Vase" Pattern No. 3174.<br><br>The pattern would have been transfer printed then boldly hand enameled with much hand painted gilded detail. The base carries a puce transfer printed mark and an impressed Ashworth Real Ironstone China mark together with the pattern number, B3174.<br><br>Excellent condition. <br>Depth of color may vary a little from plate to plate.<br>Dimensions: 12.5”Diameter x 2”D<br><br>Currently selling at auction sites for $300 and up.
