The drawstring looks like it's been tied, but still pulls.<br><br>WHITING &amp; DAVIS KISSLOCK SMALL COIN BAG<br>gold mesh and metal frame<br><br>Widest 5.5" x Height 4" x Deep .5"<br><br>Whiting &amp; Davis started making these gold mesh bags during the Flapper Era in the 20s. I place this version from the late 40s to early 50s. It originally was an evening bag with a short gold chain handle. You could certainly add a longer strap or use it as a coin purse...<br><br>As for the condition, it looks like the same friend as the other bag had hand-stitched the lining (and planned to repurpose by removing the chain). So this bag has no chain or strap. Also, a few light marks on the interior lining.
