Large high quality specimen. One surface is covered in flat botryoids on small patches of heterogenite with a small malachite "bush". Some chrysocolla is also in-matrix, and small side vugs reveal bright blue, gemmy vugs of gem silica<br><br>Gem silica and chrysocolla are typically found in copper ore deposit veins, where they can take on a massive, crusted, or botryoidal form. Gem silica (also known as chrysocolla chalcedony) is the druzy or gemmy form of chrysocolla with quartz, and it is exceptionally more rare than its constituent components.<br><br>Locality: Kulukuluku, Congo<br>Mass: ~710g (best estimate, this specimen maxxed out my mineral scale :( )<br>Dimensions: 120x80x47 mm<br>Size classification: Large cabinet<br><br>Dimensions are approximate, as minerals come in unique, irregular shapes.
