Welcome to<br>Celestial Nonesuch<br><br><br>For Sale Today: <br>An absolutely gorgeous - and one of the scarcer larger examples - antique flint glass specimen bottle jar (numbered MT 1027) made for Louis Agassiz of the Museum of Comparative Zoology at Harvard University. <br>This glass bottle was made by the New England Glass Company, circa 1860's through 1870's.<br>Overall, good condition. Chip around the rim of the jar. Stopper has some fleabites around the base. Stopper also has what appear to be a hairline running through it, although there is a chance it is a manufacturing imperfection. Exhibits signs of age such as surface wear and weathering.
