I broke my ankle and used this crutch to get around in my home here and there for about 2 weeks. I was able to do household chores, go up and down the stairs with ease, and carry my 1 yr old around. I paid 179.99 and had to assemble it. All you have to do is adjust it to your height. It can be adjusted to be used with either leg.
