Premiering in 1972 on CBS, this classic animated series was created, produced, and hosted by comedian Bill Cosby, who also voiced a number of characters, including Fat Albert himself. Based on Cosby's childhood memories, the show focused on the lovable Albert and his friends. Each episode featured an educational lesson emphasized by Cosby's live-action segments, often ending with the gang playing a rock song on their homemade instruments in their North Philadelphia junkyard.
