Indigenous Alaskan (Eskimo) hand-carved figurine made from walrus tusk ivory. The figurine depicting a native Alaskan woman is carrying a basket containing sewing implements for animal hides. This cream-colored,, glassy-smooth ivory surface makes up the majority,of this statuette.<br><br>The Eskimo woman is 4 1/2” high, and her base is 1 1/2” measured one point of her base which is an equilateral triangle to the opposite side.
