The design of parsons chairs originated around the 1930s, and sought to depart from the highly-ornamented designs of earlier furniture pieces, Parsons being generally minimalistic chairs. These models are quite elegant in an off-white silk with blue ribbon trim. Even the bolster cushions are ruched on each end. Very detailed! 3 inches tall & 1.5 inches wide.<br><br><br>24 years later they have very little wear & tear.<br><br><br>Armoire is not included in this auction.
