This Wii U was initially Japanese, but has been made region-free, and the overwhelming majority of menus are in English. Menus that aren't in English are not important for navigating the system menus or gameplay.<br>All games play in English.<br><br>The console has been thoroughly tested and works perfectly. The console and gamepad have a few cosmetic defects, but everything works well. The remote, Wii Motion Plus adapter, Nunchuck, and jacket have been tested and are in good condition.
