Les Fetes du Roi Soleil – The Celebrations of the Sun King,- issued by Hermes as part of its 1994/1995 Autumn/Winter Collection – was designed by Michel Duchène.<br><br>An homage to Louis the XIV, the French Sun King. The design depicts the array of flamboyant costumes worn during regal parades and pageants of the period.<br>Created from coveted jacquard silk with the woven Hermes fireworks design. It allows the designs to shimmer with movement as they do not have a printed design. They are created on a special loom to achieve the woven print. Hermes stopped production of jacquard in 2001/2002 due to the high cost.<br>Due to the rarity of Hermès jacquard silk scarves (carres) they are highly collectible.<br><br>Great condition, but missing its care tag.<br><br>Hand rolled edges.<br>Weight 66G<br>Silk.<br><br>90cm x 90cm
