...Vase<br>Welcome to<br>Celestial Nonesuch<br><br><br>For Sale Today: <br>A marvelous handled cloisonne jar, with a rich deep cobalt blue ground, accented with yellow, red, and turquoise enamels, all culminating in a carnival of fantastic colors. Taotie mask eyes peer out from the blue background, and yellow Ling zhi mushrooms spring up across the lower body from above the foot.<br>Unmarked. Antique Chinese, presumably Qing dynasty, through early Republic period, circa 1800s - 1920.<br>Some damage to the cloisonne and enamel where one of the handles meets the body. Minor damage and missed glaze across the body and up around the lip. Significant patination and tarnishing. Exhibits signs of age such as surface wear and weathering.
