Antique Postage (Stamp) Silver Metal Holder with a flip top. This lovely piece was used to hold stamps prior to stamps being self adhesive, sold on sheets. When closed, looks like a miniature mailbox. With the lid flipped open, one can read the stamp patent: April 22.90 ~~ <1890 NOT 1990><br><br>Very rare item. Marked 1890. <br><br>This item is very small, about the size of a half dollar coin. <br><br>At this time, I only ship within the United States.
