Fabulous, Antique, Gutta Percha, Mourning or Sentiment Picture Locket Necklace from the 1880s, with early seaman photograph, and unique Grosgrain Ribbon Chain.<br>** The Gutta Percha Locket measures 1 3/8" x 1" x 5/8" deep. It has an excellent, molded, Fuchsia Floral decoration on the front. The locket opens easily and closes securely with a "snap". In the language of flowers, Fuchsias symbolize true feelings, freeing deep emotions, amiability, confiding love, and good taste.<br>Inside is a photo of a handsome, 1880s, Victorian Seaman wearing a Royal Naval Square Rig Uniform. The photo measures 3/4" x 1/2", with a gold tone frame, and is under a thin clear covering.<br>** The Black Grograin Ribbon Chain measures 26" x 1/2", is hand-sewn, and randomly inset with prong-set glass rhinestones, each individually stitched in place.<br>The period-correct, gold-tone, spring ring clasp, and ring attachments work well.<br>Great condition!
