Antique Gilbert Parole Chime wooden mantle clock. 8-day time and strike on the hour on a large nickel half bell. Working condition and well taken care of!
Height: 20”, Width: 13”. Beautiful walnut case with carved design and Rosetts. The paper dial is very nice with nickel dial trim. Original etched design on lower door glass. 24-hour alarm feature. The clock has been serviced and keeps perfect time.
The Gilbert Clock Company, known for producing clocks from the late 19th to mid-20th centuries. The "Parole" model is a well-regarded parlor clock from the late 1800s.
